UCIC designs and builds a software and hardware platform for voice and language interaction with the Internet of Things and web services. The Ubi is a WiFi-connected hardware device that allows the user to lookup information, send notes to contacts, control home automation devices, play music and access Internet services hands free through voice. Coupled to this is a smartphone app called the Ubi App that allows users to quickly access web services and control Internet connected devices through voice and language. The result is a customizable voice interaction platform to make service and IoT devices more quickly accessible.
