Story Star is creating the worlds greatest storytelling platform. We will enable anyone to capture and share his or her first person perspective of the world, through mobile video, in a similar style to Snapchat stories. Being very aware that gaining traction will be the most difficult challenge in the early stages, I am doing two things to mitigate this. First, I am going to ensure only high quality content is shown on the app. I am doing this by curating the best content from Snapchat and thus will not allow users to create or upload content – they may only consume content. Content creation will occur once we have a large enough user base that we can ensure that enough of them will be able to create high quality content. The second way we are mitigating the risk of not gaining traction is by getting influential content creators to partner with us and promote Story Star. We are currently in talks with many of the largest celebrities on Snapchat.
