ShinnyTimes.ca is a bootstrapped web application that helps Canadian hockey players find a game of shinny. We take an old problem where shinny hockey schedules are scattered across the web, in PDFs, websites and email news letters. We solve this problem with an easy to use, mobile friendly, shinny listing application. We work closely with arenas allowing them to update and maintain a shinny listing on our website. The website is free for hockey players and arenas. The application allows players to view and share shinny times as well as let others know if they are attending. This product is the first of its kind, with literally zero competition besides the arenas themselves. The service runs off a free business model, so the site will keep gaining more and more users each time we add arenas. Shinnies get shared daily and arenas are now able to grow their shinny market like never before. This is why its so appealing for them to join up.
