Emblm, Smart Casing Inc.'s consumer brand, enables users to design custom battery doors for smartphones with removable backs using their favourite art, photo or design. After uploading an image to the online design tool or selecting from Emblm’s stock gallery, we use a proprietary printing and coating technology to integrate both scratch resistant and high-resolution graphics into the OEM backs. Emblm then ships the custom back, where the user replaces their original battery door with their new Emblm. Emblm is building a portfolio of licensed content including sports and academia. Smart Casing services B2B clients like BlackBerry, who use the service for promotional giveaways. We are currently discussing retail and service integration opportunities with BlackBerry and Canadian telecom carriers. Enterprise clients customize corporate issued phones with logos, slogans, business cards, QR codes, etc. as a marketing investment or through an employee subsidy model in BYOD environments.
