unconference is the first real-time virtual attendance platform for conferences and lectures. It consists of two main parts, proprietary hardware that integrates directly into the audio/visual system of the room, and an online web platform for digital attendees to view live-streams, presentations, and ask questions in real time over the PA system, wherever the attendee is in the world. A well designed Q&A moderator will allow attendees to submit and vote on questions, essentially crowd sourcing the best questions that the speaker then can select which they would like to answer. The hardware also allows speakers to present wirelessly in any native format or even VM for demos without having to connect to the projector. Clients of the system can open up their viewership market by reducing ticket costs for online attendees to 10-20% of onsite ticket costs. Allowing for additional online revenue streams that will meet or exceed revenues of onsite tickets, without having to increase costs.
