Bionik Laboratories was established in 2010 as a Canadian research and development company. It is focussed on the discovery and development of novel techniques and technologies for assistive technology in the medical field with the goal of introducing a new exoskeleton technology to the market. Targeted diseases and injuries include complete and incomplete paraplegia, stoke, spina bifida, as well as multiple sclerosis.
